Kyle Hinshaw and the Animal Kingdom way
Kyle Hinshaw runs Animal Kingdom Dog Grooming, and he began grooming dogs in December 2018. Today the business has two shops, in Colton and Yucaipa, and a self-service dog wash at the Colton shop.
Kyle is known well beyond the Inland Empire for his videos of nervous dogs at bath time. Speaking to PEOPLE, he explained that many dogs are simply scared and think the brushes or dryers will hurt them. So he talks to them, shows them what he is doing and what he is using, and often says a short prayer before he starts.
“If you can help them understand that you're there to help, it makes a world of a difference.”
Kyle Hinshaw, speaking to PEOPLE, as quoted by PetsRadar (November 2024)
